Michele Carey, born Michele Lee Henson was the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, an American physician, and Thelma Burnell Henson. Burnell Henson. When she was in her teens, Michele had mastered piano. at the age of thirteen she won a contest in Chicago Music Festival. Her passion was for acting, and was able to attract the attention of Hollywood producers when she was still modeling. Her debut came on tv in the television series, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Michele who turned out to be one of the renowned American entertainers began her profession as a model. She was employed by the Powers agency. She then ventured into acting in 1964 on the show The Man from U.N.C.L.E. In 1966, her role in the role of Josephine Joey MacDonald in El Dorado was a major draw for attention. The roles she played in the 60s and 70s helped make her a prominent actress.
